Dr. Georganne McCandless, who grew up an Army brat, has lived all over the place. She moved to Texas in 1983 and considers the state her home. She attended college at The University of Texas at El Paso. She moved to Houston to begin dental school and graduated from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1997. She received her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 1999 from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston.
Dr. McCandless is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is very involved in organized dentistry. She is currently a member of the following organizations:

Over the past 25 years, Dr. McCandless has been very involved in local, state and national dental organizations. She has held multiple leadership roles including being on the Board of Directors of the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Association, the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the College of Diplomates of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. McCandless has several published articles related to topics in Pediatric Dentistry and has received multiple awards recognizing her excellence and leadership in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. She updates her continuing education each year in topics ranging from the newest in laser dentistry and pediatric dental trauma to early orthodontic treatment.
Dr. McCandless is happy to be serving the children of the greater Tomball area. She looks forward to meeting you and your children.
Dr. Nancy Wong

Dr.Nancy Wong was born and raised in Lima, Peru, but has been a Texan since 12 years old and now calls Houston her home. She completed her education in San Antonio, Texas as a first generation college student, and became the first dentist in her family. She attended the University of Texas in San Antonio (UTSA) where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology graduating with Research Honors and International Distinction from the Honors College in 2011 and completed a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in the Business of Health in 2013. While at UTSA, she helped establish an organization that raised funds for families battling childhood cancer working closely with each child. The reward she found in working with children led her to find her calling in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Wong attended the University of Texas in San Antonio School of Dentistry where she received her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distinction in Research and Dental Education in 2017 and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2019. As a dental student, she was very active in student organized dentistry holding leadership positions throughout her years in school. She received several awards for service, research and clinical skills including the AAPD Predoctoral Student Award for clinical and academic excellence in pediatric dentistry. She currently serves as a board member for the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and president in 2024.
Dr. Wong is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Wong is currently a member of the following organizations:

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring, trying out new restaurants around town, learning new crafts like hand lettering and calligraphy, and unwinding by being active outdoors, working out and playing soccer. Dr. Wong is very excited to join the Tomball community and to meet you all!
