Dr. Georganne McCandless
Dr. Georganne McCandless, being an army brat, has lived all over the place. She moved to Texas in 1983 and considers Texas her home. She attended college at The University of Texas at El Paso. She moved to Houston to begin dental school and graduated from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1997. She received her certificate in pediatric dentistry in 1999 from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston.
Dr. McCandless is board certified by The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is very involved in organized dentistry. She is currently a member of:

Over the past 20 years Dr. McCandless has been very involved in the local, state and national dental communities. She has been in several leadership roles including being on the board of directors of the Greater Houston Dental Society, chairing the Dental Health Committee for 5 years, participated as the Chairman for the local dental society’s annual convention-Star of the South, has been on the advisory committee of the Houston Dental School Alumni Association and she has recently completed her term as the District V director for the College of Diplomates of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. McCandless has several published articles relating to topics in Pediatric Dentistry as well as multiple awards recognizing her excellence and leadership in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. She maintains her continuing education yearly with topics ranging from the newest in laser dentistry and pediatric dental emergencies to early orthodontic treatment.
