Dr. Georganne McCandless
Dr. Georganne McCandless, being an army brat, has lived all over the place. She moved to Texas in 1983 and considers Texas her home. She attended college at The University of Texas at El Paso. She moved to Houston to begin dental school and graduated from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1997. She received her certificate in pediatric dentistry in 1999 from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston.
Dr. McCandless is board certified by The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is very involved in organized dentistry. She is currently a member of:

Over the past 17 years Dr. McCandless has been very involved in the local, state and national dental communities. She has been in several leadership roles including being on the board of directors of the Greater Houston Dental Society, chairing the Dental Health Committee for 5 years, is currently participating as a chairman for the local dental society’s annual convention, is on the advisory committee of the Houston Dental School Alumni Association and she is currently acting as the District V director for the College of Diplomates of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. McCandless has several published articles relating to topics in Pediatric Dentistry as well as multiple awards recognizing her excellence and leadership in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. She maintains her continuing education yearly with topics ranging from cosmetics in pediatric dentistry to early orthodontic treatment.
Dr. McCandless is happy to be serving the children of the greater Tomball area. She looks forward to meeting you and answering any of your questions.
Dr. Lizzie May
Dr. Lizzie May is a native Texan, born in Houston but raised in Sydney, Australia. Although she spent her youth abroad, Dr. May has lived in Texas since 2006 and considers it home.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Georgia in 2011. Dr. May then returned to her native city of Houston to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2015. Finally, in 2017, she completed a two-year advanced training program specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Health in San Antonio. At this time, she also received a Masters of Science in Dental Science.
Dr. May is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and The Greater Houston Dental Society. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is currently in the process of completing her board certification. She attends continuing education courses annually, and has completed Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support training.
Dr. May is thrilled to be joining Dr. McCandless and her team. She looks forward to serving the Tomball community and getting to know your family personally. Dr. May is passionate about pediatric dentistry, and recognizes the importance of making dental appointments fun!
